Are you talking about those guns with the fat rotary style magazine that sets on top of it? I think they would be fun to play with, but I guess with the highcap mag ban in place, they are probably hard to come by any longer, or at least rather pricey.
One of the salesmen at the local range just picked one up LNIB last week.It's the .22 version w/the 100 round mag.The ergos are...um...not bad really,the gun itself just looks like a Star Wars extra.
It's apparently more of a sprayer than an accurate rifle.Though I 'spect that part of that is because it's (apparently)soooo much fun to empty the mag.
It might be a more reliable-feeder than the American 180, given the diff style of mag-follower. The 180's were given to blowing case heads and lots of misfires, and other malfunctions,etc, even on semi-auto.
Now with AWB gone, someone should revive the company. I've always thought that those Calicos would be even better if they used a caseless cartridge, like the one for the G11.
