hmm? Pop a cow, get 20 lbs of jerky, and you can backpack for 2 weeks+ on that much food, and that means a move of 300miles, or more,and in that time and space, you WILL find more food, and most likely, some means of transport, either a boat, vehicle, horse, bicycle, etc.
