for these "3 gun matches", being a "3 gun master", hmm? The shotgun is a joke, for survival or combat. Money and time spent on the shotgun can't be spent on the far more useful pistol and rifle. The longarm is pretty useless in "normal times', because you can't CARRY it, and the pistol (and shotgun) are REAL close to useless once shtf and everyone's carrying an autorifle. Really, if shtf, the shotgun is less useful than the pistol, cause at least the pistol doesn't get in the way of carrying a rifle, is concealable, suprresable, and can be using .22lr ammo (in one of the 2 small, lw pistols that I recommend that you ccw if shtf.

Well its your opinion that its a joke, but I would prefer the opinion of those soldiers currently carrying the shotgun in combat in Iraq and Afganistan, both American and Canadian soldiers that are carrying them in combat! If I remember correctly, gunkid you have no combat experience!

MELVIN the Unmagnificent, has had combat fright. He was once, as close as 150 miles, to the DMZ, in Korea. And our brave MELVIN, pee'ed his pants at the closeness of the DMZ. Does that qualify as combat experience?

The only minor detail, was that the Korean Conflict fighting, had been over, for more than twenty years, when MELVIN was there.
