dumber than a rock. Obviously not serious about anything, so why not just use the pistol? If SERIOUS, wth you doing with a pistol rd in that longarm? Especially ammo that weighs MORE than 223 (like 357 or .44 mag ammo does)? Why have HALF the effective range of a 10" 223, or 1/rd that of a full size rifle in 223? Why be without the 22 unit? why be twice as slow for repeat shots (ie, with a lever)? Why have a fragile, slow assed reloading system like a tubular mag? Why be without concealment, rustproofing, luminous sights, see thru scope mt, QD, return to zero scope base? Why be without drop in trigger job, GI cartridge, mags, parts? Thats giving up TONS of utility, in return for WHAT? Nothing that amounts to a crap. No threaded muzzle, no ease of field stripping for cleaning,no short barrels, ready to install. No flashhider, SLOW assed response time, thumbcocking a hammer. SLIP, not GET it cocked, and DIE. I'd much rather have an AR upper in 30 AK, or one in 6.8 or an sks, than any lever ever made, if I wanted to do something that the 223 wasn't too good at, Why spend $400 on something as half assed as a lever action? Sheesh.
