she knows several women whose kids do that. We need a car-pool set up. that's ridiculous, each parent commuting that far, every day. therre's no bus service for that place. sucks. School aint very good. None of them are here, or any place else. High school kids can barely do fractionsa and %. It's disgusting.

Gotta do what you gotta do. We don't have any schools within 15 miles of us; public, private, none of any kind. When our kids were young we did, but not now. Where we are now, the closest road with painted lines on it is more than 4 miles from us. We do have a 'paved' road about 1.3 miles away, but it's just chip-seal with no lines or markings, and we have to drive almost a mile & a half of gravel road to get to that one. We all have to make choices & compromises based on our life situation at any given time.

Would be interesting if you'd comment/participate in some of the threads that you've started - the 'gold price' thread, the 'HOT .45 loads' thread, the "try your fast .30 carbine" thread, etc. For that matter, curious for your thoughts on the 986 revolver thread; I was surprised at how well it did. No downside to joining in your own conversations and nothing to be scared of with remote internet discussions.

Guys, I'll say one thing. In the USA in many public schools it's gotten ridiculous as far as what's not being taught. Better to see if they have any credits for a charter school than waste money on gas to take "junior" there.
