hey i was wanting to see if any of you folks played around with the "non-standard" i swapped a m-1 for a xl-rpm years ago, one barrel was in 270ren, it's a 22 hornet blown straight out to .277 i run 90gr. sierra gamekings with 15gr. win 296, one things for sure when it hits, it dumps all it's energy, strictly a thin skinned varmint. but i have knocked the rams [email protected] meters with it. o.k one more to share with you all, not a wildcat but real good! run 32.cal "xtp" pistol bullets through 30.cal bullet sizer with 13.5gr. of 2400 in m-1 carbine, effects rival 22-250 on the devastation meter ! but you should load/experiment with what your safely comfortable with. thanks

Eh... I came up with the idea a while back and a buddy of mine has been working on it. He's working on the loads slowly. So far he's gotten a 200 grain HP up to 1800 but we're working slowly. I think we should be able to top 2300 fps before it becomes dangerous.

I don't have any load data here. My partner has it all... plus we're holding it until we get more test shots.

BIG-PIG

man! i can't see a auto-loader recoiling that, unless you installed a hi-jacker air shock off a 73 el camino on port side, a dixie cup on the starboard side[ to catch the ripped off rims] and a CAN on the muzzle to tame the contrail that pill is bound to leave in it's wake! just funun with ya! but seriously press on with it and keep me advised! thanks

I've got one of the first series Wildey .45 Win Mags with the 8 inch barrel and a 12, and 14 inch barreled uppers. 6 mags total with a home made presentation case and original Wildey cleaning kit. LOL

The recoil on the Wildey is light but man that thing puts the rounds down range hard. It's highly accurate, more so than my 629 .44 mag.

I recently heard that Wildey is developing a DD round for that gun. Rumor has it that it will be called the .600 Wildey Magnum. I want that round. LOL...

I've always been a huge fan of the hand cannons. I had two Automags, one LAR long slide .45 win mag, and a few other toys...

A long while back on the Biggerhammer site, a guy named Birdman had a video clip showing him firing a .50BMG hand cannon. The EMP pulse when it was fired was enough to glitch the video. Can't say I would want to shoot something like that, though. Sitting behind a 24 pound rifle quickens the heart rate quite enough as it is!

Heck, if you want something to really curl your hair, get a side by side 10 gauge and cut it down to hand gun size. Legally of course. You shoot, I'll watch...... :)

I still remember when that prick at the Richmond Va. City counsil brought in a bunch of Birdman Homeboy nite sight ads and was screaming about it. Everyone laughed him out of the room because he didn't get that the whole thing was a parody.
