Not much I can say about this old 94...as you can see its no prize. I found this rifle on our property many years ago in the woods leaning up against a tree.

Looks to me like it has character. I would venture to say, a whole bunch of stories could be made up for that rifle....:)
How's the bore?

That would make a GREAT wall hanger. Definately the topic of some interesting conversations. Good pics too!
I love those old 94's, I still have the 9422 (top) and the Trapper (bottom) I sold the .32 special in the middle (rats!)

That's cool. I'd clean it up, restore it as LITTLE as possible, check it for safe firing....and take it BACK into those same woods to hunt with. Yeah, what a fun excursion THAT would be!

It does have that wild west ghost town look.. I found the rifle back in 1982 and pretty much like you see it now. Its never been shot by me. The action still runs smooth but the bore is rusty and pitted. I actually forgot i had it until a couple days ago. Maybe someday fix it up.
