HAVE to shoot, hmm? If you dont HAVE to shoot, why RISK a long range shot's being LIKELY to miss, hmm? why dont you get CLOSER, if you HAVE to hit, and the guy's UNAWARE of you? If he IS aware of you, you wont HAVE a fully exposed, stationary target, ya know. all you'll have as a targetis either a head, bobbing around cover,or a dodging, fleeing torso. you dont hit either of those types of marks beyond 223 AR-capable ranges, even 10% of your shots. NOBODY can.

ifcondiitons AINT ideal, u CANT reliably hit men, at ranges beyond which the AR-223 can hit, so you are lugging around a 308 for nothing, man. doing without .22 unit, concealment, 1 hand use, suppressor, GI rifle rd, etc, for NOTHING. big mistake.

Gunkid, I shoot in all weather conditions barring one. I will not practice shooting in a lightning storm. That is it. Your idea of "ideal conditions" is laughable. I rarely get to shoot in what you define as ideal conditions. Yet, I can still make shots far beyond what you think people can. Like what has been pointed out, you are stating an opinion, that is all. Fact disagrees with you.
