I am trying to find if there's a specifically designed rubber buttplate for K98; I'm planning to change the metal buttplate for a rubber one. Thanks, THUD.-

i don't think anyone designs one for the k-98 style stocks. you can get a slip on one on it though.

I don't know of any specifically designed for the K98 either, but there are a bunch made in various sizes that are designed to be cut to fit. You could try Brownells www.brownells.com and see what they have. They stock a variety of sizes and you can compare the width and height and maybe find one that you can grind to fit.
